"I believe storytelling is a form of education and it is important as artists to use our voices and help shed light on underrepresented or misrepresented stories.
Right now, more than ever, society needs us to speak up and stand together. We need not only start but also continue this work into the very distant future together as a world.
This is why I’m thrilled to be an ambassador for BITE THE BULLET STORIES. They are providing an outlet that doesn't discriminate against race, gender or sexual orientation, and together with them I’m honored to help share stories from the black community.
Join us by helping share our voices to make the world a better place."

I believe positive change is possible no matter who you are or where you come from.
BITE THE BULLET Stories has taught me that feelings of shame and inadequacy are at the root of every personal struggle. And sometimes, the first step to healing is to talk about it.
My journey to learning this started from a desire to combine my work with ways of creating positive change, inspiring others, and offering help to those in need.
In 2006, I left a fashion designer's dream job in New York and moved back to Canada on a mission to find meaning in my career and creative endeavors.
I believe the universe has guided me ever since, by pushing me into careers that have taught me the need for self-love, the ability to share a story, as well as the importance of connecting with others...
As with millions of people, the quest for mental wellness has been a life-long journey for me. I've seen many of those closest to me - including members of my immediate family - struggle with mental health issues, and the shame that is commonly associated with it.
After a lifetime of seeing the damaging affects that shame can cause (both external and self-inflicted), and after 12 years as an actor and photographer, BITE THE BULLET Stories naturally molded itself into a project I could not let go of.
The instant and positive impact that I saw it leave on people around the world motivated me to drop everything in order to build BITE THE BULLET Stories into the community that it has become to date.
To anyone who has already been involved, and to those who plan on becoming involved, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I know what it's like to experience trauma at a young age and to struggle with the long-lasting effects it can have on your psyche.
After a lifetime of admiring individuals who possessed the courage to live their dreams, I decided to dig deep and become one of those people myself. This decision has set me on the path to healing, speaking my truth, and helping others through my profession.
However, this journey was not without its setbacks. Molested as a child, experiencing an adjustment disorder, and burn-out forced me to move back in with my mom in Germany for a few months in my early thirties. Consequently, making me feel as though I had 'failed' in life.
However, my drive to overcome these challenges pushed me to quit my soul-sucking, 9-5 corporate job in May, 2017 and launch my own business as a Life & Business Coach and Brand Designer with my new Design Studio...
...By choosing to follow my heart, and allow my decisions to come from a place of truth, rather than fear, I've been guided on a more meaningful and fulfilling path with the goal of creating change and being a voice for those who remain silent.
Which is why I'm honored to serve a bigger purpose by partnering with BITE THE BULLET Stories.
Happy to call L.A. home, I am here to create and inspire as a heart-led rebel, passing on what I’ve learned from my journey and what my experiences have taught me. Knowing that the hardest setbacks can also be your greatest blessings.
Together with BITE THE BULLET Stories, I want to help others radiate their essence and encourage them grow beyond the obstacles that are holding them back.
